Inside Sales Executive

GlassParts are a leading supplier of glass orientated tools, hardware and accessories to the construction industry through the UK and Ireland. Due to continued expansion this position is now available immediately.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inside Sales Executive to join our highly successful team in Southampton (SO14)

As an Inside Sales Executive you will be responsible for providing day to day office support in a busy and challenging sales environment.

Your duties will primarily involve liaising with existing customers and will include although will not be limited to:

  • Being the primary contact point for customers over the phone and via email
  • Providing pro-active administrative and phone-based support for the Field Sales Team to help them develop and secure sales
  • Issuing quotations and samples
  • Processing orders and tracking
  • Handling queries and any complaints

Key qualities required:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly telephone manner
  • Strong administration skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • A flexible and motivated approach, with an enthusiastic and proactive outlook
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a sales team structure
  • Some construction product experience would be preferable but not essential.
Job type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30
