Loft Style shower screens are characterised by their distinctive, industrial looking black grilles.  They are created using our unique and robust U Channel and Flat Profile, which are available in matte black for that authentic industrial look. 

Our robust U-Profiles (G7012BL-LOFT and G7013BL-LOFT) are ideal for achieving a seamless finish.  The depth of the channel is ideal for disguising discrepancies in the plumpness of the wall, allowing for the glass to be cut straight. Simply mitre the profile on the corners and stick around the perimeter of the panel.

Our 19mm x 1.8mm Flat Black Aluminium Profile should be used to create the grid style design. This is easily installed horizontally or vertically to achieve the style wanted.  Apply to both sides of the glass.

3. Glass Thickness and Profile Compatibility

Choosing the right glass thickness is essential.

Loft Style profiles are designed to accommodate 8mm or 10mm glass, which are the most common glass types used for shower screens of all types.  Make sure your chosen glass matches the profile specifications to ensure a secure and stylish installation.

4. Easy Installation with Adhesives and Tape

Installation of Loft Style profiles is made simple with our high quality adhesives and tapes.

Clear Soudal Fix ALL should be used generously when installing the glass into the perimeter U Channel.  Our Double Sided Acrylic Tape should be used to install the loft-style flat profile.  Apply it to the back of the profile, within the slotted area to ensure a professional finish.

These products provide strong, invisible bonds, ensuring your shower screen stays in place without compromising the design.

5. Enhance with Support Bars and Brackets

For added stability, incorporate Support Bars into your design.  These components are not only functional but also complement the overall design of your shower screen, adding to the modern industrial aesthetic.
